Discover Europe with Burja – Erasmus+ Mobility
You are invited to apply for a group mobility of adult learners within the Erasmus+ programme, which will take place in Metković (Croatia) from 13 to 17 May 2025. Participants will depart on Wednesday, 13 May, and return on Sunday, 17 May 2025.
The mobility is intended for anyone interested in sustainability, social entrepreneurship, active participation, and outdoor education, and who wishes to develop their knowledge in the authentic environment of the Neretva Valley.
Thematic areas
The programme will focus on the following topics:
- Social entrepreneurship – developing ideas for socially beneficial initiatives and learning about examples of good practice;
- Sustainability – understanding the relationship between humans, nature, and community, and
- promoting responsible behaviour;
- Awareness-raising actions and active participation – taking part in environmental actions (e.g. a clean
- up activity at the Neretva estuary) and strengthening active citizenship;
- Social inclusion – inclusive working methods and strengthening equal opportunities for all;
- Outdoor education – experiential learning, learning about medicinal plants, ecology, and modern
- teaching approaches in natural environments;
- Field-based learning – exploring sustainable tourism, local practices, and cultural heritage.
Who is it for?
The mobility is intended for individuals who:
– have participated or are participating in educational programmes or workshops of Zavod Burja,
– are interested in sustainability, social entrepreneurship, and active participation,
– wish to develop their competences through experiential and field-based learning,
– are willing to actively participate in group activities.

– develop social, civic, and entrepreneurial competences,

– develop ideas in social entrepreneurship,
– strengthen intercultural understanding and communication,

Organisation and conditions
All travel, accommodation, and programme activity costs are covered within the Erasmus+ mobility.
Priority will be given to:
– participants with fewer opportunities, especially members of ethnic minorities,
– older adults with limited opportunities,
– individuals from remote areas,
– persons with disabilities,
– highly motivated applicants.
There are 10 places available.
